Research Assistant and PhD candidate at the Institute for Applied Materials - Applied Materials Physics 2020-today

I work on a joint research project with TU Bergakademie Freiberg investigating new refractory composites for a new generation of plugs and shields in steel industrie and turbines.

My research work contains

• CALPHAD Modeling
• Oxidation Experiments
• Experimental determination of thermodynamic and thermophysical properties
• Investigating material processing routes
• Material characterization

Student Assistant at Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology 2019-2020

I work on research projects analyzing local continuous fiber reinforcements.

My research work contains

• concepting and designing a new testing fixture
• process optimization for a KUKA robot based winding cell including KUKA Robot Language editing
• processing of hybrid polymer glass fiber yarns into local continous fiber reinforcements
• porcessing of wound structures in injection molding
• mechanical, physical and optical characterization

Working student at Intelligent Media Systems AG 2017-2018

I worked on two main topics: process management and incident management

The process management contained

• selection, introduction, administration and maintenance of a software to picture and improve the processes within the companies departments
• write the requirements for JIRA and Confluence at the sales area and realize them in the software products

The incident management contained

• customer contact in case of incidents
• review of incomming incidents
• contact customers for discussing solutions
• write and communicate reports to the developement and quality assurance departement

Student Assistant at Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology 2016-2017

I was involved in the research of jute reinforced SMC and carbon reinforced BMC and SMC.

Tutor at the Light Technology Institute 2016

I participated in the tutor program of the university and held a tutorial for the 'solid state electronics' lecture

In the research of laser structered cathode materials I worked on the assembly and measurement of batteries and the analysis of experiment data with Excel VBA.
